Turn left at Uranus

I want my mummy! Oh, Saturn. How beautiful you are with your large ring of ice and rocky particles. Saturn was discovered in 1610 by Galileo, is the sixth planet from the sun and is the second largest within our solar system (after Jupiter). It has some 18 known moons and has vicious winds that blow at 1100MPH (that's 1770KPH), and by far, is my favourite planet (sorry Mars, you're far too hip for me these days).

The reason why I bring up Saturn; I belong to a community on LJ called "eBay Drama". Its pretty decent, with people complaining about people, bitching, ranting, moaning, looking for advice, the kind of a community you'd expect an angry whiner (me) to be a member of. Well today, this girl, posted a really funny one. She had a listing on eBay for a gold plated Saturn charm necklace (see listing here) and some guy actually emailed her with this:

"dear i have noticed you are selling item of a planet now i own that trademark please read my about me as you are infringing on a my trademark. i will contacting ebay. with my concerns copy right infringment is a crime"

He has apparently copyrighted Saturn as his very own trademark. I thought this was very funny. And his spelling of prosecuted ("prosicuted") on his bio page made me think of sweet delicious prosciutto. The girl was very polite about all of this, up until he told her it was going to take her to court with it and that his solicitor would be in touch. She then became sarcastic and annoyed. It played out as usual, and now she's waiting for eBay to suspend her account (because this is the kind of thing eBay does).

I mean what a god damn knob. He owns the copyright to Saturn? All those primary schoolers, drawing those pictures of Saturn. OMGZCOPYRIGHTINFRINGMENT!!!##$ The Discovery Channel! You bastards don't have the right to show those documentarys and/or pictures of Saturn! Gosh!!

Some people.
